Author: Barricade In Carroll County Has Ended (Westminster, MD) – Maryland State Police found one person deceased after entering a Carroll County home this afternoon where they had been since this morning after receiving a phone call from a man who threatened to harm himself. The deceased has been identified as Carl Michael Byczkowski, 45, of the 600-block Glen Drive, Westminster, Maryland. He sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by a forensic examiner
